You are joining a fast-growing and dynamic area of DECON-IT. You help to advise our customers in the exciting and challenging areas of migration of systems, as well as the provision and operation of system landscapes. DECON-IT operates internationally in a wide range of industries.
As one of the leading service providers in the field of “Test Data Migration Server”, we also help our customers on the increasingly important provision of testing data in non-productive systems and landscapes. This also includes the anonymization of customer-specific data without compromising the consistency of the systems.
Due to our always very good cooperation with SAP, we come into contact with the new technologies such as Hana very early.
Your Role in the job:
You will typically work in the field of our large- and midsize customers in the various areas. You will work with our international staff in an agile team. They support our customers with their data management and data migration skills, from data analysis to the implementation of the solutions.
Your typical tasks:
- Typically, you work with other industry-specific or technical consultants in a project to analyze, plan, and implement migration solutions.
- Recommendation and design of migration solutions for customers, including required implementation routines.
- Create, test, and run migration solutions using tools, such as SAP LT, SAP TDMS, or LSMW.
- Pre-and post-validation of business-level solutions, including analysis and troubleshooting.
- Create or assist in the creation of time and project plans, including planning of “dress-rehearsals”, “Cutovers” and “Post Go-Live support”.
- Mediation and presentation of data management problems after an analysis in the implementation of migration-specific tasks, as well as the provision and implementation of systems in different industries.
Things you should have / bring into this job:
- Extensive experience in the fields of data management and migrations in the SAP environment.
- A detailed understanding of SAP enterprise solutions and an understanding of customer requirements in these solutions.
- Experience in the design and implementation of SAP ´ s ETL solutions such as SAP LT, SAP LSMW or SAP Business Objects, as well as integration solutions such as IDoc’s or BAPI ´ s.
- Extensive experience in SAP ERP functions such as finance, logistics and human resources management.
- Experience in data analysis and reconciliation to prove the correctness and completeness of migration solutions.
- Experience, go-live ´ s to plan and prepare for ‘ data migration runbooks ‘
- Good consultant skills are a prerequisite because they often work directly with the customers.
- Professional knowledge in language handling and in the preparation of customer documents.
